Roles and Career Progression
Associate
Own the work that drives impact. Build real pricing solutions for high-growth companies.
Associates are the engine of our project teams. You’ll take ownership of key workstreams—whether that’s designing a packaging strategy, building a pricing model, or conducting customer research to support a monetization recommendation.
You’ll be fully staffed on one project at a time, operating as a trusted problem-solver within a tight-knit team. You’ll work closely with Engagement Managers and Principals to deliver impactful, insight-led solutions—and build serious strategic muscle in the process.
Typical background:
1–3 years of experience at a top-tier consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or in strategy, pricing, or revenue operations roles.
Engagement Manager
Lead a high-performing team. Run the project. Deliver a great solution.
Engagement Managers are the day-to-day leaders of Monevate projects. You’ll serve as the “COO of the project,” structuring the approach, guiding the team, and ensuring we deliver world-class pricing strategies—on time and to standard.
You’ll be the primary point of contact for the client’s project lead, quarterbacking Steering Committee conversations and managing senior stakeholders throughout the engagement. You’ll also play a critical leadership role inside the team, mentoring Associates and Analysts and helping them develop.
Typical background:
4–6+ years of consulting experience, including recent roles as Engagement Manager, Project Leader, or equivalent at a top-tier firm.
Principal
Shape the answer. Ensure excellence. Build the firm.
Principals are senior leaders at Monevate—trusted experts, bold thinkers, and future Partners. You’ll serve as the Engagement Director on projects, bringing sharp monetization expertise and guiding the team to strong, actionable solutions. You’ll own executive-level relationships with clients and help them navigate some of their most strategic pricing and growth challenges.
Beyond project work, Principals help build the future of the firm. You’ll drive business development, identify opportunities to serve clients, develop new IP and frameworks, and help launch new service lines. High-performing Principals may be elected to Partnership.
Typical background:
7+ years of consulting or professional services experience, including leadership roles in strategy, pricing, or go-to-market transformation.
